Maruti Suzuki has unveiled its much-awaited model- the new generation Celerio in India. Celerio, which looks very attractive, has been made public as a high mileage hatchback.
Celerio, which is available in 4 different variants in India, is priced from INR 499,000 to Rs 694,000.

The hatchback is based on Suzuki’s Heartect platform which also underpins other models like Wagon R. Compared to its predecessor, this one is larger, well-equipped, and more fuel-efficient as well.
Engine?
The new Celerio is now powered by a new-gen K10C engine featuring DualJet technology and idle start/stop system. This engine is tuned well to provide a great highway mileage of up to 26km/l.
Under the hood, the hatchback gets a 1.0L 3-cylinder naturally aspirated engine unit delivering a peak power of 67bhp alongside a peak torque of 89Nm. As for gearing options, the standard option is a 5-speed manual while a 5-speed AMT transmission is optional.

Variants?
The new Maruti Suzuki Celerio is offered in 4 different trims: LXI, VXI, ZXI, and ZXI+. The manual gearbox is available on all the trims while the AMT option is available on the upper 3 only.
