Microsoft Surface Laptop SE features an 11.6-inch TFT LCD panel with an HD resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and a 16:9 aspect ratio. This plastic-shelled laptop weighs 1.11kg and has standard screws that will allow easy repairability.
According to Microsoft, the company spent the past 18 months talking to IT admins about the pain points of managing laptops in schools, and repairability was one of the top concerns.

Performance
The Surface Laptop SE is powered by Intel Celeron N4020 or N4120 processor. It comes with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of eMMC storage.
Windows 11 SE
The main highlight of the laptop is the new Windows 11 SE operating system. It’s a simplified version of Windows aimed at students in K-8 classrooms. Students can use third-party apps, including Zoom and Chrome on the OS. There's no Microsoft Store for installing apps. Instead, IT departments can deploy whatever Win32 and Universal apps they'd like.
Windows 11 SE will only be available on new low-cost devices and only for schools and education customers. We will soon see the laptops of companies like Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, and Others powered by this new Windows OS.

Microsoft claims that the Surface Laptop SE can provide up to 16 hours of standby time. The laptop also features stereo speakers and has a 1-megapixel HD camera for video calls.
