Nepal to launch its own electric vehicle within coming 6 months

Hulas Motors, which was actually the first company to manufacture its own car in Nepal is now again set to launch their own electric vehicle. After the integration of “Nepal Pollution Criteria 2069”, the company had stopped the manufacture of their car.
According to the recent reports, this Nepal based firm is now planning on launching its own electric vehicle within the coming six months. The Hulas motors fall under Golcha Organization, which is, in fact, a giant production firm in Nepal. Hulas motors had first stepped in the Nepali auto market with their car, named “Mustang” but due to some complication after official implementation of Nepal Pollution Criteria 2069, the production of the car had to be stopped.
In a recent talk with the General Manager of Hulas Motors, Prafulchandra Das, he explained that the firm had been planning on manufacturing their own electric car as soon as the fall of “Mustang” in the year 2071. This implies that the company had been working on its upcoming electric vehicle for more than 5 years.
The new electric car by Hulas motors will use a lithium-ion battery for power while in a single full charge, the vehicle will accelerate up to the 150km-220km distance. The new electric car will also be manufactured in the same plant where the firm’s previous vehicle “Mustang” had been manufactured. As the future of electric cars and vehicles in the globe is very bright, that’s why the company has made this decision to step into this world of auto electrification.
While this is, in fact, a great initiative by a Nepal based auto manufacturer while this can highly support in raising the domestic income and economy of the nation. Currently, the company has also been launching and selling three-wheelers (rickshaw) in the Nepali market. Well, now its turn for their electric car.
Coming to the pricing of their new car, the company explains that it will cost around 15-20 lakhs in Nepal.
