OnePlus has finally launched the OnePlus 10 Pro in Nepal. Design and Display

OnePlus 10 Pro features a 6.7-inch second-generation LTPO AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution of 1440 x 3216 pixels. This curved panel supports a 120Hz variable refresh rate, peaks at 1300 nits of brightness, and is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. 

When it comes to design, the OnePlus 10 Pro seems to have taken some inspiration from the Galaxy S21 series. The metal frame of the smartphone melts with the camera housing, like in the S21 series of Samsung. Further, the smartphone has a matte rear glass panel, and it comes in two color options of Black Out and All things Green.

Performance

 

OnePlus 10 Pro is powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. It comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. 

The smartphone is the first to get the latest version of Oppo's mobile OS. It runs the ColorOS 12.1 that is based on the Android 12 operating system. This new OS brings features like HyperBoost, which allows users to overclock the CPU for more power. 

OnePlus has also improved the cooling system of the 10 Pro, which is now said to be "55% the size of an A4 paper sheet", or about 340 sq. cm.

Camera

 

For optics, the smartphone features a triple rear camera setup and a selfie camera, all tuned by Hasselblad with features like Hasselblad Natural Color Optimization 2.0, XPan Mode, and more.

The primary camera here is a 48MP Sony IMX789 sensor with OIS, followed by a 50MP ISOCELL JN1 ultra-wide with 150-degree FoV, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3.3x optical zoom and optical image stabilization (OIS). Upfront is a 32MP Sony IMX615 sensor for selfies and video calls.

OnePlus 10 Pro packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging (SuperVOOC) and 50W fast wireless charging (AirVOOC). The device also supports reverse wireless charging. 

You get an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometrics. There’s also a dual stereo speaker setup with support for Dolby Atmos. Connectivity options on the OnePlus 10 Pro include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
