OnePlus has launched the OnePlus 10T in Nepal. The company revived its T-series with the new OnePlus 10T (if you remember, there was no OnePlus 9T last year). The OnePlus 10T is basically a cheaper alternative to the OnePlus 10 Pro. However, the device brings some specs that are even more impressive than the 10 Pro.

Design and Display
OnePlus 10T features a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with an FHD+ resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels. The display here supports a 120Hz refresh rate (with Adaptive Frame Rate Tech), up to 1000Hz touch response rate, and gets the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Besides, it also offers stunning brightness, HDR10+ support, and 10-bit color depth.
The display on the 10T is a slight downgrade from the 10 Pro as there’s a more advanced LTPO2 panel with Gorilla Glass Victus on the Pro model.
Design-wise, the OnePlus 10T is an exact copy of the OnePlus 10 Pro but with some alterations here and there. The most notable ones are the lack of an alert slider and the LED flash and macro lens placement switch.
Performance
One of the major upgrades on the OnePlus 10T over the 10 Pro is the processor. It features the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor instead of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Moreover, the SD8+ Gen 1 is built on TSMC 4nm process and is clocked at up to 3.2 GHz. In addition, the chip also brings 30% better power efficiency and improves CPU and GPU performance by 10%.
OnePlus has also upgraded the cooling system of the OnePlus 10T. It features the company’s first ultra-thin vapor cooling system. For instance, it combines a 37038.8 mm² larger cooling area, advanced materials, and a redesigned heat dissipation channel for improved thermal performance.
Battery and Charging
Compared to the OnePlus 10 Pro, the 10T features a smaller 4800mAh battery, but the charging speed has seen a serious bump. It supports a 150W SuperVOOC charging that can fully charge the phone in 19 minutes. Besides, the phone also packs 13 temperature sensors, a specially customized Smart Charging Chip, and 128-bit encryption to ensure enhanced charging safety. OnePlus has claimed a battery lifespan of 800 to 1,600 cycles.
However, the 10T lacks the 50W fast wireless charging and reverse wireless charging features that were present on the 10 Pro.
Camera
The optics section is where the OnePlus 10T sees the most downgrades compared to the Pro. The primary camera here is a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS, followed by an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro lens. For reference, the OnePlus 10 Pro features a 48MP Sony IMX789 main sensor, a 50MP ISOCELL JN1 ultra-wide, and an 8MP telephoto lens.
Moreover, the front-facing camera also sees a downgrade to 16MP from a 32MP Sony IMX615 sensor.
