The Government of Nepal has banned schools, colleges, gyms, cinema halls, swimming pools, assembly meetings, and all other social gatherings by devising a new strategy to fight against the coronavirus. At the same time, the government has also issued the notice for all the citizens to not leave their houses and rest in isolation unless there are any primary tasks to be carried out.

People have also been appealed to sanitize their private cars, motorcycles, and other public vehicles before using its as coronavirus has high risks of transferring through these machines too. Therefore, here we are going to share with you some tips on how to keep your vehicles clean and well-sanitized to reduce the risk of coronavirus.

Wash your vehicle daily

Regularly clean your car or motorcycle. The vehicle is made with plastic and metal parts that have a very high risk of coronavirus capture. While grabbing the handles or steering, you might possibly get caught a virus from it. More on, as cars come with the AC system, it also increases the chance of the virus entering your vehicle.

Carefully, sanitize the carpet, gear-lever. Floor mats, steering, infotainment system, and dashboard while cleaning up a car. Other parts such as a headrest, window switch, audio control, AC vents, door handles, glasses, handbrakes and so on should also be kept well-sanitized as these parts of the car come mostly in contact with our hands.

If you have a motorcycle, you should thoroughly clean the handlebars, the instrument console, fuel tank, and other metal parts to keep it free from germs. Alcohol-based cleaners are considered as the best choice for cleaning your vehicles or any other machines.

Important Equipment you must carry

While driving a car or motorcycle, you need to carry some important objects to keep safe from a possible virus outbreak. Always carry a hand-sanitizer, mask, sunglasses, tissue paper, gloves, and other safety materials while moving out from home. While riding a bike or scooter, always make a habit of wearing gloves without touching the handlebars with bare hands.

[Note: Never touch your face, eyes, ears often while riding a car or a motorcycle as it enhances the high risk of virus transfer.]
