Redmi has made its first move into the gaming smartphone segment with its new Redmi K40 Gaming Edition. Redmi K40 Gaming Edition Overview
Starting with the design of the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition the device comes with a glass back that has a vertical camera module with thunder bolt-shaped Led flash and the device looks aggressive to reflect its gaming identity. With physical shoulder triggers, you get a center punch-hole cutout at the display for the front-facing camera.

The device operates on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11. There are no built-in fans on the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition like we see on the gaming phones of other brands. Here you get a combination of graphene, graphite, and a vapor chamber that makes the device cool for a better gaming experience.
For the camera, you get a triple camera setup with 64MP Quad-Bayer primary sensor, an 8MP 120-degree ultrawide, and a 2MP macro sensor. At the front is a 16MP selfie shooter capable of taking up to 1080p videos at 30fps whereas the rear camera setup can take up to 4K videos at 30fps.
