Redmi Note 11S features a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The display here supports a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, 1000 nits of peak brightness, and gets the protection of Gorilla Glass 3.
The device has a boxy design with IP53 certification for splash resistance. It comes in three color options - Graphite Gray, Twilight Blue, and Pearl White. The smartphone here measures 8.09mm thick and weighs 179 grams.

Performance
The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G96 processor. It comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB UFS 3.1 onboard storage. Users can also expand the storage up to 1TB using a microSD card.
Xiaomi has also added multiple heat dissipation layers for efficient cooling. Using LiquidCool technology (multiple layers of graphite+copper foil), the multiple layers of graphite dissipate heat from the screen. There’s also a 10005m㎡ heat dissipation area, for faster and more efficient cooling. On the software side, the device runs the Android 11 based MIUI 13 out of the box.

Camera
For optics, the smartphone features a quad-rear setup and a punch-hole cutout for a selfie camera. The main sensor here is a 108MP Samsung HM2 sensor with 0.7 µm pixels and 9-in-1 binning (for 2.1 µm pixels). It is then followed by an 8MP ultra-wide with 118-degree FoV, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor.
Upfront is a 16MP camera housed in the center punch-hole cutout for selfies and video calls. The smartphone can record a maximum of 1080p videos at 30fps.

Redmi Note 11S packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. Xiaomi claims that pro fast charging can deliver zero to full charge in just an hour.
Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Furthermore, there's both facial recognition and a fingerprint scanner for biometrics.
