Smart Licenses being printed at a swift pace amid lockdown in Nepal

Share:

Even during this period of lockdown, the Department of Transport Management is continuing its work of printing smart driver’s license.

Gogan Bahadur Hamal, the director of the Transport Management department said that about 1,40,000 units of licenses were printed during this period of lockdown alone. According to him, only 300,000 licenses are left to be printed.

More on, in this lockdown period, the demand for renewal, new license, and more has stopped which has further eased the works in the department. Due to this, the department has been able to print 3000 additional licenses compared to the regular days. Accordingly, the department aims to print all the remaining licenses for printing within the current fiscal year.

If the printing works are carried out in the same manner amid this lockdown, all of the pending licenses will be available within a week on the starting days of July.
