Indian automaker- Tata is all set to enhance its EV portfolio this year. The Indian automaker is ready to launch the new Tigor EV on August 31, 2021.

As of reports, the new Tata Tigor EV will be featuring the Ziptron EV technology which we had also witnessed in the Nexon EV. As Tata has already confirmed that its Ziptron tech-infused vehicles will be offering a minimum range of 250, the new Tigor might last up to 350kms.

The 2021 Tigor EV is powered by a 55kW electric motor alongside a 26kWh lithium-ion battery unit. The electric sedan is claimed to offer 0-60km/h acceleration within just 5.9seconds. This motor will be churning out a horsepower of 74bhp.

Recently, an inside image of the vehicle was also leaked which displays its charge to be 59% with a remaining range of 204km. This implies that it can easily go for the 340-350km range at 100%. If so, it will even be higher than its other sibling, the Nexon EV which has 312km.
