The long-awaited Scrambler from Indian automaker TVS has finally made its official debut. TVS has officially launched the TVS Ronin 225 Scrambler in the Indian market.
The motorcycle is launched in three different trims- single tone, dual-tone, and triple tone. It is available at a starting price tag of INR 1.49 lakhs in India.
While the market is getting pumped with some top cruiser machines like Honda C350, Jawa Forty-Two, Yezdi, and Royal Enfield Classic, the entry of TVS Ronin 225 has fired the game higher.

Looks-wise, the body stance of the cruiser looks very similar to that of the Honda CB 350. It retains the classic single leather seat positioning with a huge round LED headlight.
The narrow seats with a tear-shaped fuel tank and a round digital odometer don’t fail to give the motorcycle a classic cruiser look. This LCD digital display in the bike displays gear shift indicator, time, Trips, acceleration, and some connected features as well. You can manage smartphone notifications on the pod.

Powering the Ronin 255 is a 225.9 cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, oil-cooled engine that delivers a peak power of 20.12 bhp at 7750 rpm along with a max torque of 19.93 Nm at 3750 rpm. The motorcycle’s engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox transmission.

The braking duties are handled by dual-disc brakes on both tires. Excitingly, there is also an option for dual-channel ABS. However, this one is only available in top-tier variants while the lower and mid-trims get the single-channel ABS.

Similarly, for suspension, the TVS Ronin equips Monoshock with 7 steps Adjustable preload upfront alongside a mono-shock with 7 steps adjustable preload at the rear.
The TVS Ronin 225 adopts a Ground Clearance of 181mm.

The new TVS Ronin 225 is now available for sale in the Indian market only. However, the motorcycle might make its turn to Nepal soon as well.
