India announces no more usage of petrol vehicles after 2025

India is one of those countries which is strongly ambitious in electrifying the overall vehicles in the nation to make it more pollution-free and environment-friendly.
In the recent reports, it suggests that the committee is now working to mandate the sale of electric three-wheeler and two-wheeler by the timeline of April 2025. Well, it seems like this bold move by the nation will have a huge impact on the electric automobile industry. However, this is also a great movement by the government in reference to the future picture of the nation.
The major reason why the government is planning on implementing this rule among the two-wheelers and three-wheelers is that these two categories of vehicle occupy more than three-quarters of the Indian roads which are in fact a very high rate. Well, if the new rule can move forward as planned, then in the next 6-8 years, we can depict a whole new picture of India as the country will fully be occupied with electrified automobiles.
More on, if the things work on as planned then the sales of electric scooters and motorcycles will take on a high leap as millions of citizens there still rely on petrol vehicles. Also, pollution and emissions will be cut drastically.
This way India could easily fit similar to China’s automobile scenario, as China is one of the countries which conducts a lofty amount of sales of electric bikes per year compared to the petrol variants.
As a whole, it is a huge opportunity for domestic and foreign manufacturers in India too. Let’s see if things work on as planned. While we also should initiate our Nepal Government on working on these kinds of innovative plans for the future so that we could depict a beautiful picture of nature in the coming years.
