OnePlus has launched the Dimensity 8100-Max SoC-powered OnePlus 10R in India. It is the successor of the OnePlus 9R and is the rebadged version OnePlus Ace launched in China. The smartphone offers lots of interesting specs like a 120Hz AMOLED display, 150W SuperVOOC charging, and more. Design and Display

OnePlus 10R features a 6.7-inch OLED panel with an FHD+ resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels. The display here supports a 120Hz Adaptive refresh rate, up to 720Hz touch sampling rate, and gets the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It also offers 950 nits of brightness, HDR10+ support, and a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.

The smartphone is launched in Forest Green and Sierra Black color options. It measures 8.2mm thick and weighs 186 grams. Design-wise, OnePlus has gone with dual-tone color and a flat-edged frame with rounded corners

Performance

The smartphone is powered by a customized Dimensity 8100-Max processor, which is a slightly tweaked version of the Dimensity 8100. It comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 high-speed storage. There's also a 35198.2mm² heat dissipation area with a 4129.8mm² VC liquid cooling surface.

When launching the smartphone in the global market, OnePlus has brought the device with two battery and charging speed options. First, there's a regular 5000mAh battery model with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. The other model features a smaller 4500mAh battery with support for 150W SuperVOOC fast charging and is dubbed OnePlus 10R Endurance Edition. OnePlus claims that the battery will retain over 80% of its health even after 1600 full charge cycles. It also has a TÜV Rheinland certification for safe fast charging.

Camera and Others

For optics, the triple rear camera setup of the triple rear camera setup is headlined by a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). It is then followed by an 8MP ultrawide with 119.7° FoV and a 2-megapixel sensor for macro photography. Upfront is a 16MP sensor for selfies and video calls.

Connectivity options on the OnePlus 10R include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. On the software side, the device boots on the Android 12-based OxygenOS out of the box. OnePlus has promised 3 major OS upgrades and 4 years of security updates.

OnePlus 10R Price in India starts at INR 38,999 for the standard 80W model with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and goes all the way up to INR 42,999 for the 12/256GB model. The 150W model (Endurance Edition) comes in a single 12GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration and costs INR 43,999. If the smartphone launches in Nepal, we expect the price to be around Rs.68,000.
