For years, Tesla Inc., a world-renowned American electric-automobile manufacturer, has provided a wide range of car offerings. The brand is well-known in the auto industry for producing luxury electric vehicles.
After the success of its first electric vehicle, Tesla began to design and sell a variety of other elegant models, and the rest is history. Tesla Inc. was founded by Elon Musk, the richest man on earth, who also serves as its CEO.
Tesla, in addition to four-wheelers, manufactures a diverse product line that includes Solar Panels, Solar Roofs, Batteries, and other items.
Overview
Tesla currently sells four electric car models worldwide: the Model S, Model 3, Model X, and Model Y. Surprisingly, three Tesla Models (Model X, Model Y, and Model 3) are currently available in Nepal. These vehicles were imported into Nepal following the end of the country's first COVID-19 lockdown.
So today we will go over the specifications, features, and pricing of the Tesla Model 3 in the Nepali market.
Tesla Model 3
Among its brothers, the Tesla Model 3 is the most affordable Tesla Car. However, due to its market popularity, the Model 3's price is rapidly increasing in the United States.
Tesla's sophisticated offering comes with high-tech, practical, and top-notch performance and range. Furthermore, the Hyundai Ioniq 5, Kia e-Niro, and Ford Mustang Mach-E are the car's current competitors.
Design
The Tesla Model 3 looks is actually a regular sedan with dimensions of 4,694mm long, 1,849mm wide, and 1,443mm high. The front fascia of modern electric vehicles frequently lacks a classical grille.
Modern and stylish, the headlights complement the style of the car. Under the hood, there is no engine. As a result, a small boot has been installed there. The roof's sweeping curve continues smoothly into the structure's back when viewed from a profile.
The Model 3 includes a heated steering wheel, Bluetooth connectivity, and power-adjustable and heated front seats as standard equipment in addition to the massive 15-inch touchscreen that dominates the Tesla's interior.
Additionally, the car comes standard with 18-inch alloy wheels, faux leather interior, and climate control. The tires on the massive BBS alloy wheels are incredibly thin. A tiny sensor built into the B-pillar activates a key card-accessible door lock. Opening doors with sleek, satisfying handles is a lot of fun.
However, the design of the trunk section falls down towards what appears to be a quite small storage compartment. When you open the trunk, you'll find plenty of storage space. The Model 3's glass roof is one of its most notable features.
It may be opened, and it runs the entire length of the roof. On the inside, there are two ports. It has two charging ports, one for standard chargers and another for faster Superchargers.
Performance
The Tesla Supercharging network, which can refuel a vehicle's battery for a trip of up to 172 miles in just 15 minutes, is not yet available in Nepal. In the US, Europe, and the UK, this is a common feature, and it gives Tesla an advantage when it comes to long-distance travel.
A 208 kW motor and a 54 kWh lithium-ion battery work together to provide 420 Nm of torque, which is used to power the Tesla Model 3. The rear-wheel-drive model accelerates to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds and tops out at 225 km/h.
The Model 3 can be fully charged in about 5 hours and 30 minutes using an 11 kW AC charger, or in about 30 minutes using a 170 kW DC fast charger. According to the WLTP, the Model 3's range is approximately 448 kilometers.
Features
A 15.4-inch LCD touchscreen infotainment system, automatic keyless entry, 12-way power adjustable heated front seats, 4-wheel anti-lock brakes, automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot sensor, a collision warning system, parking sensors in the front and back, tire pressure monitoring system, and an anti-theft alarm and immobilizer are among the high-end features of the luxury electric sedan.

Price of Tesla Model 3 in Nepal
The Tesla Model 3 is available in three variants, but the prices have changed slightly. Tesla Model 3 has a starting price of Rs.1.45 crores for the Standard variant. Unfortunately, we only know its current starting price.
Conclusion
Many people would find it shocking to learn how much the Tesla Model 3 costs in Nepal. Nepal's transition to electric vehicles is still in the future due to a high tax and a lack of charging stations. However, the entry of Tesla is a very encouraging move for the commercial acceptance of electric vehicles in Nepal.
