Along with the flagship X80 Series, Vivo also unveiled a mid-range Vivo S15e smartphone. The smartphone offers specs like Exynos 1080 processor, 90Hz AMOLED display, and a 50MP primary camera. Here, we’ll go through the specs, features, and expected price of the Vivo S15e in Nepal.

Design and Display

Vivo S15e features a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2404 pixels. The display here supports a 90Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and has 600 nits of peak brightness.

In terms of design, the smartphone has a rectangular camera island with two vertically aligned circular cutouts to house the camera setup. It is offered in Rime Gold, Ice Crystal Blue, and Fluorite Black color options. Further, the device measures 8.49mm thick and weighs 190.8 grams.

Performance

The smartphone is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1080 processor that is built on an advanced 5nm process and has a CPU frequency of 2.8GHz. It comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

Vivo S15e packs a 4700mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging. Vivo claims that the device can reach a 50% charge in just 18 minutes. On the software side, it runs on the Android 11-based OriginOS.

Camera and Others

For optics, the triple camera setup of the S15e features a 50MP primary lens, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro sensor. Upfront is a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls.

Connectivity options on the device include 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, and a USB-Type-C port. Furthermore, it features an in-display optical fingerprint scanner and facial recognition for biometrics.

Vivo S15e Price in China starts at CNY 1,999 for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The smartphone is already up for pre-order in China and will go on sale starting April 30. If the Vivo S15e launches in Nepal, we expect the price to start at Rs.40,000.
