The MT-15 V2 and FZS Fi V4 have the same engine size, but the former is more powerful, producing a maximum power of 18.4 PS and maximum torque of 14.1 Nm. In comparison, the FZS Fi V4 engine generates maximum power of 12.4 PS and maximum torque of 13.3 Nm. Likewise, the MT-15 V2 engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox, while the FZS Fi V4 engine is connected to a 5-speed gearbox.

In terms of dimensions, the MT-15 V2 is slightly bigger than the FZS Fi V4. It has more ground clearance as well. Moreover, MT-15 V2 also outperforms the competition when we look at the top speed of both machines.

However, FZS Fi V4 wins the race in the mileage game. According to the reports, it claims a mileage of 46 Km/L. On the other hand, MT-15 offers a mileage of 45 Km/L.

Moving on, the kerb weight of MT-15 V2 and FZS Fi V4 is 141 Kg and 136 Kg respectively. Since the FZS Fi V4 is a lighter bike than the MT-15 V2, it will be simpler to ride.

The telescopic upside-down front fork and Linked-typed Monocross rear suspension handle the suspension duties of the motorcycle. Powering the Yamaha FZS Fi V4 is a 4-stroke, 2-valve, air-cooled, SOHC, Fi engine that is capable of producing 12.4 PS peak power at 7200 rpm alongside 13.3 Nm of peak torque at 5500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox with constant mesh transmission.

As per various reports, the FZS Fi V4 claims a mileage of 46 Km/L and has a top speed of 115 Km/h.

More on, the bike measure 1990 mm in length, 780 mm in width, and 1080 mm in height. It has a kerb weight of 136 Kg and a seat height of 790 mm while it comes with a wheelbase of 1330 mm and a ground clearance of 165 mm.

Suspension duties of the motorbike are handled by the telescopic front forks and 7-step adjustable Monocross rear suspension. Besides, it gets an analog-digital unit, traction control system, LED headlight, dual disc brakes, single-channel ABS, and more.

Conclusion

Both Mt-15 V 2 and FZS Fi V4 are two of the most popular Yamaha bikes in the market right now, and both vehicles inherit almost similar features and specs. So, it is difficult to pick just one.

However, in my view, the FZS Fi V4 would be the better option as it offers comparable features and specs at a more affordable and budget-friendly price.
