iQOO has launched the iQOO Z6 Pro 5G smartphone in India. It is the Pro version of the iQOO Z6 5G and brings specs like a Snapdragon 778G chipset, a 90Hz AMOLED display, and support for 66W fast charging. Design and Display

iQOO Z6 Pro 5G features a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2404 pixels. This HDR10+ certified display supports a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 1300nits of peak brightness.

In terms of design, the smartphone has a rectangular camera island with two vertically aligned circular cutouts to house the camera setup. It is offered in Legion Sky and Phantom Dusk color options. Further, the device measures 8.49mm thick and weighs 187 grams.

Performance

The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor that is built on TSMC’s 6nm process and has a CPU frequency of 2.4GHz. It comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. iQOO has also added the extended RAM 2.0 tech that can add up to 4GB of virtual RAM to the device.

iQOO Z6 Pro packs a 4700mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging. The company claims that the device can reach a 50% charge in just 18 minutes. On the software side, it runs on the Android 12-based FuntouchOS 12. The device also features a flagship cooling system that has a 32923m㎡ total Liquid Cooling area with a 2097mm² Vapor Chamber.

Camera and Others

For optics, the triple camera setup of the Z6 Pro features a 64MP primary lens, an 8MP ultrawide with 117° FoV, and a 2MP macro sensor. Upfront is a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls.

Connectivity options on the device include 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and a USB-Type-C port. Furthermore, the device comes equipped with a Z-axis linear motor, which along with 4D game vibration, offers a comprehensive gaming experience by intelligently identifying scenes and providing specific vibrations.
